Bonjour,
Greetings,
I will try to explain myself in english, as best as I can.
My specs are :
Motherboard : Gigabyte Z97n Gaming 5 (rev.1.0)
BIOS : F5
CPU : Intel i5-5675c
RAM : Transcend PC3-12800 DDR3 1600Mhz TS1GLK64W6H
PSU : Corsair SF450
VGA : MSI R7 260X 2GD5 OC
OS : Windows 10 with 1607 update and all the latest updates available
The system is randomly "boot-looping" at startup : the computer keeps shutting down and restart multiple times. The only way to stop it is that the boot succeed and run Windows after 4 to 6 loops or after i manually turn off the PC.
The system worked normally before, and I haven't change anything lately. The last parts I've changed were my CPU and my PSU, but it was last year, and all was working perfectly until recently.
I've tried several things in order to understand what was going on, and try to solve it.
Unfortunatly, none of it solve the problem. I really think there's something wrong with the motherboard.
What I've tried so far :
- Load optimized BIOS default & Reset CMOS
- Boot with only CPU,RAM & PSU
- Check if none of memory modules is corrupted : Test with memtest on each slot, and swap with others modules (G.Skill Value DDR3 4Go)
- Check if it was any supply unit problem by testing with another PSU.
None of these tries solved the problem and the only way for me to boot the PC properly is to discharge the capacitors before turning it on (by removing the power cord and pushing the power button)
Do you think I'm missing something? Should I send my motherboard to you for further diagnostic/repair?
Kind regards.
